Direct from the silk city in India, Bhagalpur, these beautiful Recycled Sari Silk Ribbons are created from the ends of Indias beautiflul Saris found at the factories. These ends are torn and sewn together to create a single continuous ribbon and dyed or hand painted in stunning colours, to create a bespoke fibre for your textile projects.
The ribbon is soft and textured, giving you that luxurious look that you get from silk. Ideal for a range of arts including weaving, macrame, crocheting, knitting and even jewellery making, the use is versatile and the options are only as limited as your imagination.
Our range of Sari Silks come as either block colours, tie-dyed or hand painted.
Each skein is approx 100 grams with an approx length of 40 meters. The ribbon width various but is often between 1 to 3 cms. Due to the recycled nature of this product, no two skeins will ever be the same and each skein may vary slightly in colour. Sustainably made from recyceled materials and sourced from manufacturers who with sustainable, fair trade certifications, you can feel extra good about adding this to your fibre stash.

Please contact me within 7 days of delivery and ship items back in original condition within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping is at the purchasers cost. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer will be responsible for any loss in value.
